Christiana, originally from upstate New York, has over a decade of experience in the industry. After graduating cosmetology school in 2012, she assisted under some of the top stylists in her region, which gave her the opportunity to develop and advance her skills. In 2015 she made a spur-of-the-moment decision to pack up her car and move to Denver.
From Denver, Christiana has been able to travel the world to further her education by taking color & cutting classes globally, while also finding creative inspiration in new cities. She specializes in color, and believes first and foremost in getting to know her clients so that she can help them find a style that both complements them as an individual and matches their lifestyle.

Liv Franklin

Liv has spent the last 7 years traveling, experiencing life and hair all over the world. In 2020 she planted roots in Denver and opened Soko Salon with her business bestie.

Paige Klibanoff
EXTENSION SPECIALIST & COLORIST
Paige Klibanoff is a hairstylist located in Denver, Colorado. In 2015 she graduated from Muhlenberg College with a BA in dance but shortly shifted her passions from the performing arts to the creative arts.
She graduated from Shear Ego School of Beauty with her license in Cosmetology in 2017. Beginning her career as a hairstylist with an apprenticeship with an apprenticeship under the tutelage of Masters, Peter, Johnathan and SImon Webb at W Salon in New York. Moving to Colorado in 2018 she opted into another apprenticeship at Elle B Salon where her skills in color and extensions really took off.
Now located at Soko Salon in Denver, Paige aims to create a space where people can develop their inner & outer beauty. She believes that when you find peace and are happy with yourself on the inside, the outer beauty is just a bonus. Her goal is to bring the focus of her career and practice back to self care and mental wellness in order to help transform her clients to the best versions of themselves.

Makenzie Matz
EXTENSIONS & LIVED-IN BLONDE SPECIALIST
Drawing on her experience in modeling, pageantry, and the performing arts, Makenzie’s expertise lies in blending balayage and foiling techniques to create custom, vibrant looks that resonate with your personal style.
Makenzie’s commitment to excellence is evident in her pursuit of continuing education. She graduated from Designing Beauty Academy in 2020 and hit the ground running. She has completed dual apprenticeships under master stylists, refining her techniques and expanding her repertoire to include both the latest trends as well as classic styles. She is trained in precision and razor cutting and loves to create cuts that work with your life and style.
Growing up, Makenzie found hair to be a powerful expression of confidence and strength, creating a deep passion for the art of hair and genuine connection with her guests. She is dedicated to not only enhancing your look, but also equipping you with the skills, tools, and confidence to maintain and embrace that look day after day.
Beyond the salon, she enjoys life’s simple pleasures and loves to seek adventure as well; whether its a day in the mountains with her dog, Rollerskating around the park, or her mornings spent painting with a cup of coffee.

ELIZABETH BERGER
COLOR SPECIALIST & DRY CUTTING ENTHISIAST
Elizabeth grew up right here in the Denver Metro Area, and attended Paul Mitchell the School Denver. After working in salons throughout the Denver area, she’s finding her salon home here at Soko.
“I love working to create a customized look for you that prioritizes your hair’s health, your budget, and your hair goals. I’m particularly fond of dry cutting, and strive to deliver effortless, “I woke up like this” hair. I also have a not so secret soft spot for redheads.”
In Elizabeth’s free time you’ll find her enjoying live music, a good dive bar, and checking out restaurants that serve things she can’t cook for herself. While soft spoken, she’ll surprise you with a quick wit. She has a knack for finding the bright side of anything, and can’t wait to see you in her chair.
